Philippians. Bill Mills, who is our brother in Christ and partner in the ministry of the gospel, led Covenant Community Church in a gospel conference today. Bill leads the congregation through a three session study of the letter of Paul to the Philippians. Paul continues throughout the letter to point to the supreme worth of Jesus to be the bearer of the Good News! Listen to all three sessions below.
This sermon looks at the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ, and helps us see Jesus not just as a baby born in a manger, but also as our creator, substitute, gift, response, and our message.
Over the last several weeks we have looked at the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. Today we look at the calling upon every Christian to be God’s witnesses in declaring the gospel to the world.
This message focuses on man’s response to God’s gift of salvation. Jesus said, “Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). Listen to this message to learn more about what it means to be born again and how this occurs in a person’s life.
This is the second part of a two part message focusing on God’s great gift of salvation made available to the world through Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection.
Man’s Fall And Punishment: This is the second message in a sermon series that is focusing on the gospel. In today’s message we will learn of man’s fall or his sin against God and the punishment that comes with sin.
God’s Creation: This is the first sermon in a seven-week series that is focused on the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. The gospel can also be understood as God’s plan for saving man from his sins. We’ve broken the gospel message into four important points of emphasis: (1) God’s creation, (2) man’s fall and punishment, (3) God’s gift, and (4) man’s response. Today’s message emphasizes God’s perfect creation, including the truth that of all of creation, only man is made in God’s image.
