Today we conclude our series on the Ten Commandments as we look at the 10th commandment: Do not covet.
In today’s message we look at the 9th commandment: do not lie. We will see God’s broader intend for His children is to also speak the truth in love.
Today we look at the 8th commandment: Do not steal. We will see that God’s intent for His people is that they not only not steal, but that they be givers and lovers of those around them.
Today we look at the 7th of Ten Commandments: Do not commit adultery. As we shall see, God’s creation was perfect, including human sexuallity, until sin entered into the world. But God has provide a solution and victory for those who follow Christ.
Today we will look at the 6th of the Ten Commandments: Do not murder! This is a command that prohibits the unauthorized and premeditated murder of someone, but as Jesus also teaches, this is a command that is also directed at our heart attitudes and thoughts.
Today we look at the 5th of the Ten Commandments: Honor your father and mother.
As we look at this fourth commandment, we are reminded of the gift from God it is to us and the witness it is to others.
Today we look at the 3rd of the Ten Commandments, gaining further understand as to what it means and how we are to go about living it – living right side up in an upside down world.
Today we look at the second of the Ten Commandments: You shall not make for youself an idol in the form of anything!
Today we look at the first of the Ten Commandments, having no other gods before God.
This is the second introductary message leading up to our study of the Ten Commandments. God is holy, holy, holy and He calls His people to be holy as well.
Today we consider some basic and fundamental questions concerning the Ten Commandments: “Who they came from?,” “Who were they given to?,” “Why were they given?,” and “What does all this mean for a Christian today?”
