In Luke 2:22-38, as Joseph & Mary take Jesus to the temple, both Simeon and Anna validate that baby Jesus is the Christ.
Today we are reminded from Luke 2:1-20 that Jesus’ birth, along with His life, death, and resurrection is the good news of mega joy.
In Luke 1:57-80 we see Zechariah praising God for the birth of Jesus Christ and the blessings that come with Him. We too must praise God.
In Luke 1:26-56 we see the angel Gabriel bringing to Mary the Lord’s will for her life. We also see Mary’s submissive and obedient response to this.
We see in Luke 1:1-25 that John is a very special child because he is “great in the before the Lord,” “he is filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb,” and because he will be the herald for the coming Christ.
